Company History

Measurable Solutions, Inc. is a New Jersey-based consulting firm that was launched in September of 1999 by Michael Friedhoff, a leading consultant in the field of Information Technology infrastructure management tools, process and organization.

Principal's Background - Michael Friedhoff

After completing a degree at MIT in 1990 and then working in R&D at the MIT Gas Turbine Laboratory in Cambridge, MA, Michael Friedhoff began working with and developing Remedy ARS solutions in 1993 at RISCmanagement. He was the first field consultant at RISC and worked for them from then until 1997. During his tenure there, he was the lead consultant for major accounts, mostly consisting of Fortune 100 firms. Mr. Friedhoff led the implementation of Help Desk and Systems/Network Management solutions at several dozen customer sites both as a stand-alone consultant and as an architect/manager of large-scale strategic initiatives. In a pre-sales capacity, he wrote and priced proposals ranging from productized 1-week quick-starts to $4 million major engagements including everything from system architecture to design, implementation, training, and support. In the period from 1994 to 1996, Mr. Friedhoff founded RISC's New York practice and grew it to a staff of 12 engineers as the regional services manager.

Subsequently, Mr. Friedhoff spent 2 years (1997-1999) at Bear Stearns & Co., Inc. as Associate Director of Enterprise Network Management. In this role his primary responsibilities consisted of a core Network and Systems management infrastructure consisting of Netcool, HP Openview NNM, and Seagate (now Veritas) NerveCenter as well as the Remedy ARS product for Bear's ever-growing Consolidated Helpcenter.
